For each place: the local-script name to search, the spellings you might know, and links that open Naver Map, KakaoMap, Amap, Google Maps or Apple Maps.

  • 🇰🇷 Korea In Korea, Google Maps covers public transit only — no walking directions for the last stretch. Naver Map and KakaoMap do the walk, and they match Korean names.
  • 🇨🇳 China Google Maps doesn't work in mainland China. Amap (高德地图) is the map locals use; Apple Maps also works.
  • 🌏 Japan · Taiwan · Hong Kong · Macau · Thailand · Vietnam Google Maps works well here and matches local-script names; Apple Maps is the built-in alternative.
